- Philippians 4:19: God promises to meet all people’s needs according to the riches in Christ Jesus
- Romans 1:16–17: God promises salvation to all who believe in His Son
- Romans 8:28: God promises that all things will work out for good for His children
- 2 Corinthians 1:3–4: God promises comfort in trials
- 2 Corinthians 5:17: God promises new life in Christ
- Ephesians 1:3: God promises every spiritual blessing in Christ
- 1 Peter 1:4: God promises an inheritance for people
- Philippians 1:6: God promises to finish the work He started in people
Some things to keep in mind about God’s promises include:
- God’s promises are often conditional, and the word “if” can be used to identify this
- God’s promises are intended to help people trust Him and submit to His will
